FROGS!!!
African Dwarf Frogs in an eco-balanced aquarium make great pets for home, office or classroom. Just feed them twice a week and change their water 2 0r 3 times a year. These frogs are native to the Congo, but our little friends at the toy store were farm raised.

Lincoln Logs
A little known fact is that Lincoln Logs were invented by John Lloyd Wright, son of the famous architect Frank Lloyd Wright. The younger Wright conceived the idea for Lincoln Logs when he was traveling in Tokyo and became inspired by the construction technique used in the foundation of the earthquack-proof Imperial Hotel, which his father designed. They were named for President Abraham Lincoln, and have been inspiring children sinse 1917.

Pygg Jars =Piggy Banks
In the Middle English (between the Norman invasion of 1066 and mid-to-late 15th century), "pygg" was the type of clay used for making jars which people used for saving money. Around the 18th century, the spelling of "pygg" changed and the term Pygg jar" evolved to "pig bank". As the pig shape is child-friendly, the name soon caught on among children.

Rody Horse Testers
The official Rody Horse Testers are sisters Lily (almost 4) & Sarah (almost 2). According to their mother, he goes everywhere (yes, even on the coffee table). The girls love their Rody horse; he jumps every where. No, they don't ride him on the coffee table; he just gets parked there. Fun! Fun! Fun! This is a favorite toy to learn balancing and coordination while hoping on their Rody.

Family Tests Legendary Games
New Years Day was a lot of fun visiting with family and playing some games from Legendary Games, Inc. We played Froggy Farkel, Ninety-Nine or Bust, and Ship, Captain & Crew. Froggy Farkel is a fun dice game with a frog on each dice. A turn lasts as long as there are scoring dice or a five or a frog. It's a great family game for ages 6+. Ship, Captain & Crew is a dice game. The object of the game is to roll a six (the "ship"), a five ("Captain"), and a four ("crew") with three dice, and get the highest score with the other two dice ("the ship's cargo"). This game is for ages 5+. Ninety-Nine or Bust is a family card game for all ages that's played in short rounds; ages for this game are 8+. The object is not to lose a round and a game token. This game teaches quick addition skills and is extremely educational for all ages. My family found this game was a lot of fun; plus, it involves strategy with luck.
